Reasons To Be A Ghost Blogger

Blogging is such a normal online activity nowadays. A lot of people now have their own blogs and it has become one of the ways to make money online. However, maintaining your own blog can be tedious and time-consuming especially if you have work, family, and other matters to attend to everyday. This is the reason why some bloggers get someone who can blog for them in their place.

People who offer such services are called ghost bloggers or ghost writers. Guest blogging arrangements can range from a single post to more regular postings. While some may frown upon this practice, it is a great way to earn money from home, both for the blogger and the guest blogger. Below are some reasons to become a ghost blogger.

A lot of earning opportunities. A growing number of bloggers have come to accept the idea of having someone else blog for them.  Not everyone can easily churn out posts after posts every week and getting someone to blog a post or two can help them take a break from time to time. More bloggers accepting of this practice means that as a guest blogger, you can have more opportunities to earn!

Good pay. If you are an online writer, ghost blogging often commands higher pay simply because the bloggers are also buying the right to your whole post or article. This means that as a ghost blogger, you are surrendering all your rights to the piece once you hand it over to the blogger.

No blog to maintain. If blogging appeals to you just because you like to write but you abhor the idea of maintaining a blog, then ghost blogging might be the option for you. Ghost blogging allows you the creativity and writing outlet without the permanence and hassles of having and maintaining a blog.

Write about a variety of topics. Most of the time, having your own blog means focusing on one or a few topics only. This limits your versatility in terms of topics that you want to write about unless you maintain several blogs as well. Although it is definitely an option to write just anything you want because it is your blog anyway, ghost blogging for blogs in various niches can help open you up more to a wide variety of topics, not to mention let you learn more about the different blogs’ topics.

Facebook Fan (Business) Page Promotion Strategies

1) Posting content on Facebook page and sharing the post from your personal account on regular basis (ideally 2-4 posts per day).
Note: The post should be so interesting that people should compel to like, comment and share it.

2) Maintaining Interactivity.
Note: Like fans comments and reply to their queries ... being responsive will make your fans active on your Facebook business page. Remember, you will have to be as active as your Facebook business page's likers are. People crave interaction and the more you engage with your fans, the more likely they will return to your fan page. Supportive fans will regularly share your posts with their circle of friends, which will increase the possibility of their friends to like your Facebook business page.

3) Joining relevant Facebook groups and sharing our Facebook page's posts as often as reasonable.
Note: The larger the number of group members where you will share your page's posts, the more will be the probability to reach your targeted traffic.

4) Making new friends from your one or many Facebook profile(s), and utilizing the Facebok page feature  "Invite Your Friends to Like This Page".

5) You will need to add friends to your personal Facebook account who have already liked other relevant Facebook fan pages. Adding Facebook profiles of famous personalities such as radio jockeys, show anchors, video jockeys, novel writers etc. is also a wise idea as they have a large number fan-followings and friend-list.
Note: Tagging these famous personalities in your images and posts will help those posts to drive maximum Likes, Comments and Shares.

6) Posting interesting images and info-graphics as equal to content posts can be a great strategy as you can tag up-to 50 Facebook users of your friend list in a picture post.
Note: Tagging friends in image posts will result in great output, especially if you are tagging the above suggested famous personalities" as your post will be reachable in front of a huge amount of Facebook traffic.

7) Liking others relevant Facebook business pages (Some pages have millions of fans), adding your informative and valuable comments and links if needed on their posts keeping it to a reasonable amount to avoid the risks of annoying people by overdoing it frequently.

8) Placing your Facebook page link or a useful post link on other social media networks has become a good practice to get fruitful results.
Note: Using a Social Media Management tool to synergize activities across other social networks has become also a commonly used technique. You can use a third-party program such as Hootsuite to make it easier to manage this. You need to be careful using direct messages to send your Facebook links; more and more people are wary of "automated messages" as they feel that you're not being genuine using these.  It will be best if you try to add a personal touch to show you wrote it for them personally.

facebook fan page promotion strategies

Apart from these, you can also do the following things to promote a Facebook fan page:

1) Posting blogs about your Facebook business page, giving some compelling reasons why people should join the page.

2) Embedding social plug-in of facebook Like Button/Box in the blog.

2) Content should be brief and concise. ‘Bullet points’ should be used to list key points.
3) Content should be extracted from the website or from the approved articles and blogs for the project. However, as PPTs are meant to be a quick source of information, we should not copy and paste a whole lot of / an entire paragraph of content from the articles and blogs.
4) As with articles, the content we put onto, our PPTs also need to be value-added. Instead of cutting the chase straight to promoting our Client's products or services, where we are able to, try to insert general information that would be of interest to users.
5) The images we include in PDFs and PPTs should be clear and not blurry.
6) Only relevant images should be included in PPTs and PDFs according to the content.
7) We need not to include business logo or images showing products and services of a particular brand. (We have taken permission from client to use product images for SkinB5 PDfs and PPTs.)
8) In spite of mentioning Business name and complete address, we should mention only the website address. (e.g. To more about the topic, visit the below website.)

4) In spite of mentioning Business name and complete address, we should mention only the website address. (e.g. To more about the topic, visit the below website.)

Before Submission Guidelines for Articles, Blogs, PDFs, PPTs and Info-graphics
First, we need to check the written articles, blogs, PDFs, PPTs and Info-graphics are as per our above mentioned standard guidelines or not like:
1. Should not have spelling mistakes.
2. Should not have grammatical Errors.
3. Should not contain any brand/product name or business logo.
4. Keyword density factor should be fulfilled.
5. There should not be duplicate content.
6. Content must match the theme of Project.

These are all the major guidelines we follow for the all the content submission processes.

Guidelines for Social Bookmarking Submission Process

For making all my points easy to understand, I am explaining all the guidelines in points below.

Guidelines for Selecting Social Bookmarking Sites:
1) The social bookmarking sites must contain a category relevant to the theme of the project website.
2) The Social Bookmarking sites should be in English language only.
3) We should give priority to high PR social bookmarking.
4) Social Bookmarking sites having adult categories (or Niche Categories sites for adult and gambling) should be strictly ignored, as Google along with almost all search engines count these backlinks as bad quality backlinks, and ranking in SERPs can be suffered badly.
5) We must ignore social bookmarking sites having a domain extension for a particular country (not related to the location of our client).
E.g. Let us suppose that the site to be bookmarked belongs to Australia, and the selected bookmarking site contains "co.uk" domain extension, then we must ignore submitting our site to such bookmarking sites.

Guidelines for Social Bookmarking Submissions:
1) We need to register an account and create a profile. We should make a public profile which should look real. For this, we need to upload a profile picture, where we can use the logo of the site to be bookmarked. Then filling up the profile modification form as much as we can with correct information is also very important.
2) While social bookmarking submissions, we need stories to submit consisting of Titles, Descriptions and Keyword Tags. Here, we should use unique story titles and descriptions for each and every social bookmarking site.
3) We should submit not more than two stories at a time on every social bookmarking site.
4) We should prefer to make each unique title a meaningful sentence including the targeted keyword(s), keeping in mind that the title should not be very long, and it should look natural and attractive.
5) We should also prefer to make each description meaningful to the webpage for which we will submit that description, justifying the webpage content and making it attractive and effective.

Guidelines for Profile link creation process

1) We should select such high PR sites where we can register and create a proper looking business profile having either brief information such as Business name, Logo, Location and business description or having detailed information of the products and services along with the above information.
2) We should upload more images other than business logo along with image title and image description, if we have such options on profile link sites.
3) We should link one profile to another profile if we have such options while creating profile links.
4) We should avoid profile link sites having lots of ads and pop-ups.
5) We should not create profile on sites having completely different niche and category.

Guidelines for Classified Ads & Business Listings Submission process
1) We should search for Local sites with the domain extension of the particular country (related to the location of our client)
2) The classified ads sites and Business listing sites should be in English language only.
3) We must ignore classified ads sites and business listing sites having a domain extension for a particular country which is not related to the location of our client.
E.g. Let us suppose that the ad to be posted or the business to be listed belongs to Australia and the selected classified ads site or business listing site contains "co.uk" domain extension, then we must ignore submitting our site to such classified ads sites.
4) We should submit our ads or list our business only when we find the relevant categories.
5) Utilising all the sections such as adding business logo, images, social links etc should be done.
6) (For Classified Ads): We can post as much ads as many services and products are available on our client’s website.
E.g. suppose if a website is providing SEO services, web design services and smart phone application development services, we can post three different ads on same classified ad site for the same project.
7) For Business Listings: We should list one business on one site only. Submitting same business to same business listing sites multiple times is a wrong way to list a business.

These are all the major guidelines we should follow for Blog submissions, social bookmarking submissions, profile link creation, Classified ads posting and Business listings.
